Simple&Fancy

Does Anyone else follow really cute fashion bloggers, but everything they post is just so darn expensive!?  Or for me being in high school still - if I wore something they posted I would get the weirdest looks.  Especially from the boys they are so judgmental!  I know, you shouldn't care what other people think of you & you can tell yourself that as much as you want, but deep down you know you care, and you want to impress people.

So today I am sharing with you one of my favorite dresses.  Even though its winter time I still love dresses.  I don't care what season it is you can pair it with so many different things like cute floral tights and a scarf for winter or just keep it simple for a sun dress.  They are so easy.  Plus who wouldn't give up the opportunity to not wear pants.

There are two different ways I like to wear this dress, it all just depends on what I'm doing.  You can change it from fancy to simple real fast, with just one accessory... my favorite one, shoes.

Homecoming

Homecoming was a couple weeks ago but I miss it so much!  I had the best group ever, not to mention the cutest date.  He was a gentleman the whole time and so sweet.  Ahh I was dying.  It was my first dance so I was really nervous, especially because my date Kastan and I didn't talk very much, and I'm really shy.  But it turned out to be perfect, they planned everything so well.  For our day date we went go karting and I am a terrible driver so it was super embarrassing.  Its okay though because I didn't come in last place, haha.  After that we went home and we had like 3 hours to get ready which was super nice, even though I was still running around my house trying to get ready.  We went to PF Changs in Provo for dinner and it was so good.  I don't even know what it was, but it tasted good.  I would have ate all of it, but then I wouldn't have fit in my dress(;  After we went to the dance at the Provo library.  It was super nice, but there was no air circulation so we were all sweating really bad and it was gross.  We only were at the dance for like 30 minutes, we were going to haunted circus and had to make sure we were home on time for my curfew at 12.  I thought it was so scary and was running around screaming and everyone was laughing at me.  I don't like clowns so I was terrified.  I was also in the very back of the group so they would follow me and breathe hot breath on me.  I did not like it.  It was so much fun and everything was perfect, even if I didn't get the doorstep scene like the movies.  HAHA.

CHAMPIONS!

Well, kinda American Forks football team made it all the way to the championships!  We may have lost to Bingham 20-3 but I still consider them champions.  This was the first year since 1962, (52 years) since we have made it to state so I still consider them champions.  They have worked so hard for this and their dedication to the sport and their team has made me more proud to say I am a cavemen.  I believe we have the best student section in Utah, led by the best, Carter Childs and Taylor Reese.  I have never seen two guys so dedicated to the school and the teams.  They are at every game they can go too, in the front row yelling and supporting the teams.

We also need to thank the cheerleaders for being at every game no matter the weather conditions, cheering on the cavemen.  They have been in the top 2 for nationals for almost 3 years, they work so hard to learn all the different cheers, dances, stunts, and tumbling.  They never fail to impress me at the half time show with a great new dance every time.  American Fork High school is unlike any other high school, we are a family.  I know that everyone probably says that about their high school, but we are all there for each other, supporting our teams, and just having fun and going crazy.

Someone once said "It's not what you take, but what you leave behind that defines greatness." They may have not won the championships, but they leave being a great legacy.  Great job Cavemen Football you had a great season!  We love every single one of you.  You have made us proud.

About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Morgan Paige Ricks.  I thought my middle name was cuter so I decided to use that instead of Morgan(;  I have a family of 6 including my parents, its all girls except my dad, lucky guy!  I am the second oldest in my family.  I am 15 years old and I go to American Fork High school.  I try and involve my self in everything I can, sometimes finding my self stress paralyzed... I don't even know if that's a thing. I play softball and I am currently doing ballroom dance at the Vibe in Pleasant Grove.  I am also involved in math, yoga, and racket club it is a great way to meet new people and learn new things.  Some things I have always loved are fashion, beauty, hair, and fitness which is mostly what I am going to write about, along with the crazy adventures I have.
