Life

Wow!  I just realized how much I haven't been writing on my blog.  My life has been so hectic lately.  Yes a 15 year old can be very busy too.  Since I haven't written in such a long time so I will share with you a few fun things I've been doing lately.

For New Years me and all my girl friends went up to salt lake to stay in a hotel, go ice skating, shopping, all that fun stuff!  Well, we got one room and your probably thinking there are 5 or 6 girls going.  HAHA NO.  We put 20 girls in one room!!  You could basically say World War 3 has already happened.  It was crazy.  I'm sure you're all wondering if we got kicked out, surprisingly we didn't.  At about three in the morning I couldn't handle them anymore so I "meditated" in the sauna.  When I was done there was no way I was sleeping on the floor, so I went and slept in the lobby for an hour. I was awakened at 9 to construction and I was not happy.  I got a little more than an hour of sleep and it was new years day so I was probably going to be staying up late that night too.  And I did.  For the next two nights I didn't get to bed until 5 in the morning.  You could say my Christmas break was fun, but it screwed up my sleeping schedule.

Softball conditioning has started up and I don't think I've ever been so sore in my entire life.  We have something every day, it is so stressful and tiring.  Tryouts are in February and I am getting more and more nervous about it.  I am afraid I'm not going to be able to handle it, its so much!  I love all the girls and the coach but since its my first year playing softball I am obviously not as good as the other girls.  This just givs me motivation to work harder, but sometimes I just feel really stupid.  I still love playing and I'm so glad I made the decision too.

Have you heard of Disco skating at classic skating?  If you have not gone, you need to go!  It is a blast, even if my knees did get blue and purple.  It was totally worth it, seeing everyones fun outfits and I like to dress up too.  Plus, as an added bonus, if you dress up, you get a dollar off.  Everyone is just skating, having a good time and you just talk to everyone and I love that! I definitely recommend it. (:

Okay last thing, my dads birthday was on saturday so we went skiing for his birthday!  It was a perfect day and the snow was great.  I have to give a shout out to him, I am so lucky to be apart of this family and to have him as my dad!  I don't know what I would do without you.  Love you daddy!

Sorry that was so so long. I just start typing and then I can't stop.  I just want to share everything with you guys.  haha Here are some pictures from all my adventures.  I hope you guys like them and didn't get to bored with my super long post.

 I think everyone on snapchat was super annoyed with us, we posted a lot. Haha
This is the best picture we got... I wish we would have taken more.

Disco Night!

Closet Must Have's

There are many things a girl should have in her closet, but here are some key things I think every girl should have.

1. Jean vest or jacket - You can get these just about anywhere. I got a dark colored one at Hollister and  I love it. I prefer the dark over the light color, because I think it is easier to pair with things, but it is really up to you.  It is nice to have both though so they can go with different things.
2&3. Anything LEATHER!  I absolutely love my leather leggings and they go with just about anything. Plus they make your legs look great. (;
4. Joggers. Okay, who wouldn't want a super cute pair of sweats not to mention they are super comfy. They also come in almost every color.
5. Over sized sweaters. These are my absolute favorite for the winter time paired with some cute leggings. They are so comfy and I love them to be big and baggy. Its almost like a lazy day but you still look cute.  Win, win for everyone.
6. Sparkles! They are so in right now, you can get sparkle pants, shirts, jackets, and skirts just about anywhere! Not to mention super cute, and fun! Every girl has to have a little sparkle.
7. Jeans with to many holes. Sometimes you just have to have them. These are my favorite pair of pants. The only bad part about them is in the winter time when you haven't shaved for a very long time, you have to shave in the places you have holes. Haha
8. Converse. These are some of my favorite pairs of shoes they are so cute and they are just tennis shoes.  I want every single color, in high tops and just regular ones. I wear them at least once a week.
9. I couldn't really find a picture of this, but boys sweats! WOW they are so comfy, its not fair. I love them.

Grinchy

9 more days till christmas... I can't believe it, I don't want to believe it.  2014 was such a good year.  I had so many great opportunities. I started high school, met lots of fun, nice people, and I started my own blog!  I don't want to see it go.  Is it just me or did this year go by soo freaking fast!?  Of course I am excited for 2015 but I am the type of person that doesn't like change.  And to be completely honest, I'm scared for what the future holds.  But on the other hand,  I can't wait for the new memories and new people I will meet this year.

Anyways, my friend Brenna and I decided to get a little more into the holiday spirit.  We wanted to do a winter photo shoot, and we were just joking around but who knew it would have been the best idea we ever thought of!  haha We decided to do a Grinch and Cindy Lou Who photo shoot.  We even got my new dog Charley to be Max.  She was so cute!

We woke up bright and early Sunday morning... well I guess it wasn't that bright haha.  We wanted to have snow in the pictures, and since mother nature has been difficult this winter season we went up the canyon to Tibble Fork.  And let me tell you it was FREEZING cold!  I legit thought I was going to get frostbite, and poor Charley we had to keep her bundled up in blankets when she wasn't being our little model so she didn't freeze to death!

I am so excited with how the pictures turned out, we only got to take a few because we were all freezing our butts off, literally!  They are so fun and funny.  It is kind of hard to see Charley (Max) because she is still so tiny.  Fun Fact: We took her to the vet and she weighs a little over a pound.  She's like a small fluffy ball who loves to cuddle.  Haha Huge thanks to Alex Challburg for coming out with us in the freezing cold weather, taking our pictures, and editing them!  Like I always say... Sooo talented!  If you want to see more fun pictures she has done go check out her blog xoxoelle7.blogspot.com
 The Grinch

Cindy Lou Who.  Please excuse my hair, its a lot harder then just putting a cup in your hair.

Some close ups!  Isn't Max so cute. (;

You can't really tell, but I was actually wrapped up in christmas lights. haha

I hope you guys like them, I had so much fun doing it!

Christmas Traditions

Every year in December my family always goes to a live nativity in Alpine.  We went the first year they started it, and it was so cute that we started going every year!  Well, this year so many people had heard about it that line was so long.  You had to wait in a very long line to get on the hayride just to get to the destination.  My family decided to skip the hayride and just drive all the way up there and park.  We got there and found another hour long line to get in!  We decided it wasn't worth the wait, we've all seen it before.  It was a little sad because we don't have very many traditions, and we wouldn't be able to do it this year.  My youngest sister Ella (she's 8) doesn't remember it very much, so she was very upset.  My dad ended up taking her while we all went and got dinner.  We had just picked up our food and we got a phone call from my dad asking us to come get them.  We were all so confused on how they got through that line so fast.  Turns out they went through it backwards...in the exits and out the entrances.   Shh don't tell. (;

Lucky for us there is this thing in Draper called "The Tree of Life."  We went to that with some friends and it was so pretty!  I want to know what their electric bill is, or even how many light bulbs they used.  It took four men three and a half days working eight hours a day to light this one tree. It was beautiful.  Its kind of a little park, so they also decorated all the trees and this cute little bridge.  After we had cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate in the pavilion, and just talked, laughed, and ate until we were full.  It ended up being a perfect night, especially the weather, it was so warm!  Here are a few pictures I took on my iPhone so they are not the best quality... but I had to share them.

 SELFIE! ...the flash was a little to bright for Caitlyn.

Sunday Vibes

So its the middle of December and my dad is outside mowing the lawn... never thought I would say that!  Haha I have big news, has anyone heard of the puppy barn down in American Fork?  Well my family decided to just go check it out and they have thee cutest dogs ever!  I am not a dog person, but they were all so cute and small.  We found a dog we all liked.  She's a Pomeranian and so fluffy.  Sadly, we left with no dog, and went home.  My parents went "grocery shopping" and when they came home, they had the dog in their hands!  Ahh I was dying, we named her charley, but I call her fluffy.  She's so cute!  I will post pictures of her later. (:

Anyways, today I am sharing with you one of my every season dress.(;  Its my absolute favorite.  I always feel so pretty and elegant in it.  I also love the fact that I don't have to shave my legs haha. The fabric is super soft and flowey, when I wear it I just want to twirl around.  This is a shoot we did a while back, but I love the way it turned out so I thought I would share it with you!  Its during the spring time, my favorite time of the year when all the flowers are blooming and it smells amazing outside.  My friend Brenna is in some of the pictures looking beautiful as always.  I love having other people come with me to shoot so its not just me haha.

 I love this picture. I feel like it looks so vintage, maybe its just me though. (:

Softball

So I didn't know what to write about today, and as I thought about it for a while, I have decided to share with you my softball career. (;  I have never played softball before, and a bunch of my friends decided to do a recreational team for fun.  I was not very good but I learned fast.  The games were so much fun, and a huge part of it was from our fan section.  A bunch of the baseball boys and a few others would come to our games and cheer us on, sometimes even coach us at first base.  It was so much fun!  This year we are going to do a Co-ed team, its going to be intense.

After the Rec. season was over my friend Brenna convinced me to try out for the high school summer ball team.  Granted I've only ever played Rec. so I didn't think I would make it, but it was worth a shot to try out.  About 3 hours later I got a call from the coach... I MADE IT!  I was so so nervous, I could barely make a good throw.  That all changed. They made me a lefty slapper (I am originally a righty) I can throw from outfield to home base and I am one of the fastest on the team.

I have learned to love the game of softball, and I have my coaches to thank for that. My team was like family to me. I am a very shy girl but I warmed up to them so fast, especially my coach Pony... thats not her real name she's just so slow, so we call her Pony(; Haha. My coach didn't just teach me the game of softball, she taught us many other things that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. She was a teacher at a school for the kids with mental abilities. She was such an inspiration to me and my team, just how she would juggle her job and all of our practices, and tournaments we had one almost every weekend in the summer. Love you Pony!
 My Rec. Team!
You could say we're a little in-machure(;

Our first game :)

She's AMAZING!
 One time we played 6 games. It was exhausting.
North Central Texas College Softball 4 girls died in a car crash, so we played for them that day.
Softball booty though... HAHA
 But first... let me take a selfie.
Tournaments were always my favorite!

Last tournament in St. George. Love my team! We had a great season.
